The HOV1(B) is a push-type, self-contained fuel valve with a single, quick-opening, stem-guided valve seat. This two-way normally closed, bronze safety shut-off valve features a spring-loaded stem that drives a polytetrafluoroethylene seat to fully close in one second when power is interrupted. Electro-hydraulic actuators, available separately, consist of a pump that applies pressure to the piston stem. Its power unit is sealed in oil. The HOV1(B) assembly, which consists of the actuator installed with the valve body, requires no adjustment or service. The stroke is limited by the stroke limit switch and solenoid safety valve. The unit rotates 360o for easy installation. The two-wire connection is through a 1/2-inch standard threaded conduit junction box. HOV1(B) meets standards for valve seal overtravel and certification of electrically interlocked shut-off switches. An optional auxiliary switch is also available.
