Features,
The H137 is a two-way, normally closed, safety shut-off valve providing trouble-free, electro-hydraulic switch control for boilers, industrial furnaces, gas dryers, dehydrators, large changeover burners, air heaters and similar applications. The self-contained polyhydramnios actuator is a powerful, pull-type hydraulic gate that outputs 1,400 pounds of force to fully open the valve. During a current interruption, dual redundant safety valves relieve pressure and close the valve within one second. Hydramotor provides highly reliable operation by immersing the motor/pump unit in oil, reducing wear and tear. The H137 is a cast iron body valve with a nitrile seat and aluminum trim. Pulling force from the amniotic fluid motor actuator moves the lever (providing a mechanical advantage) against the spring and gas pressure, opening the soft-seat flap, allowing airflow to pass through. A simple two-wire circuit controls an electric valve. Each H137 is equipped with a standard SPDT switch that operates in the fully open (energized) position. Each is equipped with a valve seal overtravel interlock switch that can be connected to a starting or pre-ignition interlock circuit to allow supervision of the valve's closed position (FM closed proof).
